All set for the holidays?
Will it be a period of honest self-reflection? Rest and recuperation? Prayer and fasting? Church or Kwanzaa? Goodwill to all men?
Or will it be a whirlwind of overeating, weight gain and hangovers? Empty resolutions? Buying things you can't afford for people you don't like?
Hmm.
But what's it all about, really?
The Christmas we know today is actually part ancient astrology, part religious knots, part political haggling, part tribal beefs, part economics, part Coca Cola ad campaign, part "let's make it up as we go along..."...
Christmas is part truth, part lies.
You can have it all during the holidays, so long as you can see clearly and know what it is you want.
